Continuing Education Credits

Credit Earned: Each webinar in the Making Mitigation Work Webinar Series is worth one contact hour of emergency management training within the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) certification program.

Certified Floodplain Manager Education Credits: Pre-approved flood-related webinars will count for one continuing education credit under the Association of State Floodplain Managers Certified Floodplain Manager Program.

Certification: To receive credit, participants must log on for the full duration of the live webinar. Those who participate in any of the live webinars in the series can contact Katie Murphy at hazctr@colorado.edu to request a certificate of attendance from the Natural Hazards Center.

Submitting Credits: IAEM members can provide their certificate of attendance and a copy of the webinar description to receive credit when applying for their Associate Emergency Manager or Certified Emergency Manager certifications.
