Submissions for poster abstracts and Research and Practice Highlights are now being accepted for the 46th Annual National Hazards Research and Application Workshop. The Workshop will be held virtually July 11-14, 2021.

Poster Session Abstracts: Abstracts of 250 words or less detailing recent research, initiatives, or projects will be accepted for our virtual poster session. Those interested in presenting will still need to prepare a professional poster and presentation and be present for discussion at both our posters sessions held the evenings of July 11 and July 12.

Research and Practice Highlights: Research and Practice Highlights are all about shining a bright light on new projects, programs, initiatives, local/state/national policies, and noteworthy publications. Highlights are brief (250 words or less) descriptions of your work or current projects. They are not for presentation, but rather, will be posted on the Natural Hazards Center website to allow participants the opportunity to share what they are doing and to maximize networking potential.

In both instances, the submission deadline is May 28, 2021. Notification of acceptance will be sent to successful submitters by June 11. Registration is required to present a poster or have a Research and Practice Highlight published in our online program.
