Issues in Disaster Recovery II: Household and Community Recovery

Damaging, disruptive, and costly U.S. disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, Superstorm Sandy, and the Colorado floods of 2013 have raised questions about how households and communities fare in the aftermath of catastrophic and major disasters. Panelists will discuss findings from preliminary research on Superstorm Sandy and the Colorado floods, as well as longer-term research on the Katrina recovery process.
