The Natural Hazards Center team is excited to announce that planning is well underway for the 48th Annual Natural Hazards Workshop! After three years of convening the Workshop online, we will be returning in 2023 to the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado. Please save the dates and join us from July 9 to 12 for the Workshop. We also hope you can stay July 12 to 13 for the add-on Researchers Meeting as well as the National Hazard Mitigation Association (NHMA) Practitioners Meeting.
In early January, we will release the Workshop theme statement, call for session ideas, opportunities for awards, and much more. Please make sure you and your colleagues are subscribed for Workshop updates so you don't miss submission deadlines and important registration information.
We will also soon be announcing further details for the 2023 Researchers Meeting, the 2023 NHMA Practitioners Meeting, and the Bill Anderson Fund Disaster Dash 5K. We are so thankful for the technology that has allowed us to be together for the last three years during the pandemic, and we are so looking forward to seeing colleagues old and new in person again soon.
