Eleven projects were funded by Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 8 and the National Science Foundation to expand the understanding of the recent disasters in the region and produce actionable guidance for emergency managers.



Six projects were awarded the Public Health Continuation Award to expand data collection and analysis activities or engage with community partners in developing evidence-based interventions.


Eight projects will help develop evidence-based practices to improve community preparedness, resilience, and the public health response to disasters.
