Special Call Reports: Quick Response Research Award Program
The Natural Hazards Center Quick Response Research Award Program often releases special calls for research focused on topical areas of interest or unique extreme events. These awards are used to help fund eligible researchers to collect perishable data for the purpose of advancing knowledge in understudied areas. The program promotes social science and interdisciplinary innovation in hazards and disaster research. Novel areas of study and diverse methodological approaches to the topics identified are prioritized.
Research projects result in the submission of an abstract and brief report that makes a preliminary analysis of the special focus area. These final products are published on the Quick Response Reports and can also be found by clicking on the special call report pages below.
