Eleven new projects were funded by FEMA Region 8 and the National Science Foundation. The purpose of this call is to expand understanding of the recent hazards and disasters experienced in the region, and produce actionable guidance for emergency managers in FEMA Region 8.

Six projects were awarded the Public Health Continuation Award to expand data collection and analysis activities or engage with community partners in developing evidence-based interventions.
