The American Planning Association and the Association of State Floodplain Managers have partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to update a report on strategies that ensure that subdivisions in or near floodplains are designed to minimize flood hazards. This session will focus on developments and trends from the past two decades that have influenced these newly developed guidelines.
