Disaster Recovery Meets Health Impact Assessment

This session follows up on the Health Impact Assessments and Disaster Recovery session at last year’s Natural Hazards Workshop with findings from two recent assessments—the first two assessments to be conducted in the United States specifically with disaster recovery decision making in mind. The Health Impact Assessments project will also be summarized, with emphasis on where the tools could be particularly effective.
