Coming Together to Save Cultural and Historical Resources
Mon. 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., Centennial F
Cultural heritage plays an invaluable role in community identity, social and political continuity, economic vitality, and disaster resilience. Communities impacted by disaster won’t truly recover until all sectors— including arts and culture—recover. This session will showcase the ways in which the Colorado Cultural and Historic Resources Task Force has partnered with the emergency management community to improve the state’s mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts for cultural and historic resources, both at the state and federal levels.
