Marguerite Harden

Marguerite Harden works with local governments and partners as the local resiliency manager for the State Department of Local Affairs, Colorado Resiliency Office. She has 13 years of experience in leading social and environmental impact programs in nonprofit and government organizations. Prior to her current role, she spent eleven years working in clean energy, climate change, environmental, and planning as a consultant and non-profit director. She has led planning and project management with federal, state, and local partners as a founder and director of a Hawaii-based nonprofit leading state and community-level sustainability work, where her interest in resilience was first sparked. Harden holds a master's degree in environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment, focusing on climate adaptation and management.
