Climate Change Adaptation and Integrated Risk Governance in China

With the release of the National Adaptation Strategy in 2013, China increased the priority of climate adaptation planning. A multidisciplinary group of national and international experts are assisting five provinces and one city with the development of their adaptation plans. Panelists who are involved with this project will discuss the institutional, social, economic, financial, and ecological factors that are influencing provinces short- and longer-term adaptation planning activities.
