Bill Anderson Fund Disaster Dash

We hope you'll join us for the annual Bill Anderson Fund Disaster Dash on Wednesday, July 11! It doesn't matter if you want to contribute to a good cause or just stretch your legs, this fun run will help you do both.

The Disaster Dash 5K is an easy jog (or walk, if you prefer) in the beautiful Colorado outdoors near the Omni Interlocken Hotel. Proceeds from the run support the Bill Anderson Fund mission to expand the number of professionals from historically underrepresented groups in the fields of hazards and disaster research and practice.

If you can't attend the Workshop this year (or just don't want to run!), the Fund offers the opportunity to participate virtually—including the option to support individuals and teams who are in the race.

This event offers an important opportunity to promote and support hazards and disaster mitigation for communities of color and other historically marginalized populations. Learn more and sign up to register, sponsor, donate, or volunteer on the Disaster Dash website.
