Implementing the Sendai Framework: U.S. National Platform Listening Session

It has been more than a year since the United Nations Sendai Framework was adopted at the Third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in March 2015. The U.S. National Science and Technology Council Subcommittee on Disaster Reduction (SDR) serves as the U.S. National Platform to support the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In order to promote multi-stakeholder engagement, the SDR is holding this listening session to learn about the priorities and activities of U.S. stakeholders in implementing Sendai Framework for DRR. The session will include a brief overview of the targets and priorities for action in the Sendai Framework. Learn more about the framework on the UNISDR website.
