Chandler Wilkins

Chandler Ian Wilkins is a research associate at the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. His work examines the impacts of natural hazards on low-income communities, particularly in federally assisted housing, while pursuing solutions and interventions to support these populations better. His research also addresses climate change adaptation and mitigation, resiliency planning, and community development. 

He holds a BS in community and regional planning from Iowa State University, a Master of Urban Planning, and a PhD in urban and regional science, as well as certificates in sustainable urbanism and environmental hazard mitigation from Texas A&M University.
