Ming Xie

University of Maryland, Baltimore County

Ming Xie is an assistant professor at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Ming earned her PhD in public administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in the U.S. and another PhD in cultural anthropology from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, China. She is particularly interested in vulnerable community's disaster resilience, civil society, nonprofit organization management and communication, social media, and intercultural communication.
