Bill Anderson Fund Disaster Dash

We hope you'll join us for the 5th Annual Bill Anderson Fund Disaster Dash on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 6:00 a.m.! It doesn't matter if you want to contribute to a good cause or just stretch your legs, this fun run will help you do both.

The Disaster Dash 5K is an easy jog (or walk, if you prefer) in the beautiful Colorado outdoors near the Omni Interlocken Hotel. Proceeds from the run support the Bill Anderson Fund mission to expand the number of professionals from historically underrepresented groups in the fields of hazards and disaster research and practice. The Bill Anderson Fund is proud to have begun a Collaborative Communities Initiative in 2018 in which they engage with established civic organizations in marginalized communities to expand their knowledge of impacts and options connected to their sustainability.

If you can't attend the Workshop this year (or just don't want to run!), the Fund offers the opportunity to participate virtually—including the option to support individuals and teams who are in the race.
