RAPID Training: Tools and Mobile Applications for Perishable Data Collection

Thur. 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. MDT

The RAPID facility (rapid.designsafe-ci.org/) provides investigators with equipment, software, and support services needed to collect, process, and analyze perishable data from natural hazards events. This training session will highlight the various shared-use resources available through the RAPID, which is based at the University of Washington and serves as one of the core components of the National Science Foundation’s Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI). Participants in this session will learn more about how to access RAPID’s equipment portfolio and how to use the new RAPID Application for mobile data collection. The session will also include time for open discussion and questions from field researchers from different disciplines.
