Jasmine McAdams is a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley’s Energy and Resources Group (ERG), and the Equity and Environmental Justice Consultant at Hua Nani Partners (HNP). She is passionate about supporting robust and equitable decision-making in climate and energy. Her research interests include developing a better understanding of how climate change will impact the power system and the cascading effects it will have on communities. Prior to ERG and HNP, McAdams was a senior program officer with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, where she developed educational programs and resources for state public utility commissions on issues like transportation electrification, energy justice, nuclear energy, and carbon capture. She also has experience working as a consultant for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and as a research technician with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McAdams holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Brown University.
