Christina Gatsogianni is a researcher in the field of emergency management and civil protection with a focus on natural disasters, crisis management, risk awareness and preparedness, critical infrastructure protection, etc. She has collaborated with companies in the private and public sector, especially in environmental impact assessment studies conduction as an environmental consultant. She has 10 years of professional experience and, for the last two years, has been working as a research associate and project manager in European Union-funded research projects at the Center for Security Studies of the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection.
