Christine Gaynes is the Risk MAP Section Chief of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 8 Mitigation Division. She manages the staff of the floodplain mapping program and is actively working on increasing efficiencies and advancing equity. Christine’s priority for the team is to find innovative solutions for raising risk awareness and improving the resilience for Region 8 communities and tribal nations.
