Danielle McNutt has been with the Boulder Fire-Rescue for the past 7 years managing and implementing community risk reduction programs in the city. Over the past 6 months she built a new wildfire assessment program with a team of specialists that focuses on data-driven wildfire risk reduction. Before working for the fire department, McNutt worked for Cal-Wood Education Center, Boulder County Parks and Open Space, and City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks. Her undergraduate and graduate studies were at the University of Florida where she focused on education and environmental anthropology.
