Jane Nguyen is currently serving as the executive director for the Boat People SOS (BPSOS) Gulf Coast branch. Her career in disaster and emergency management began at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, where she developed a profound commitment to community advocacy and empowerment. Joining BPSOS was a natural progression for Nguyen, offering a platform to transform her passion into actionable change. Over the past decade, she has dedicated herself to addressing social and health inequities faced by underserved and marginalized communities across the Gulf Coast States. Nguyen's leadership is marked by her steadfast dedication to delivering direct services and advocating for systemic change.
