John A. Cross is an emeritus professor of geography at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He is the author of Ethnic Landscapes of America (Springer Nature) and The Geography of Wisconsin (University of Wisconsin Press). He has published papers regarding natural hazards in Environmental Hazards, The Geographical Review, and the International Journal of Mass Emergencies and Disasters.
