Lisa Jackson completed her master’s in emergency management through Charles Sturt University in 2015. Her thesis focused on successful lessons management implementation in emergency management. The outcome of the research was a “lessons management life cycle” which has been utilized in the implementation of the EM-LEARN Lessons Management Framework for the Victorian emergency management sector. Jackson has worked in emergency management for the past 9 years and has been working for Emergency Management Victoria since 2014 in standards and review and managing the implementation of the EM-LEARN Framework with a focus on governance, process, communication, training, and technology.
