Manuela Sifuentes is the Language Access Program manager for the City of Boulder, Colorado, where she leads the development and implementation of a Language Access Plan, detailing policies and procedures that ensure meaningful access to programs, services, and information for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse community members. Sifuentes's work history has focused on issues of social justice and equity for immigrant, border and other marginalized communities.

Sifuentes holds a BA in international relations from the University of Colorado, as well as Master of Public Health and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Michigan. She is also a translator and certified medical interpreter. Sifuentes serves on the Steering Committee for the Municipal Language Access Network and is an active member of the Colorado Interpreters and Translators Association and the American Translators Association. In her free time, she enjoys co-hosting a weekly music show called Corriente on her local community radio station.
