Mojeed Olamide Bello earned a PhD in computer and electrical system engineering in 2024 at Morgan State University's School of Engineering and previously earned his master's degree from the same institution in 2017. Bello is as a teaching assistant in the School of Engineering, specifically in electrical and computer engineering. Bello actively engages in research within the school. His diverse research interests span power generation, resilience, natural disaster mitigation, emergency management, renewable energy, smart grid, micro-grid, optimization, system design, power electronics, blockchain, grid modernization, machine learning, data analysis, and information and cybersecurity. Bello is a trainee member of Employment and Training Administration-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and actively participates in hands-on lab and research activities. Recognized for his contributions, he holds the distinction of being a fellow of the Bill Anderson Fellowship and a member of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Special Interest Group within the American Society for Engineering Education. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Howard Hampton Morgan Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate. Bello is a proud Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers member.
