Yolanda C. Lin is an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico in Geography and Environmental Studies Department. She received her PhD in civil engineering from Cornell University, and has a MS in civil engineering from University of Colorado Boulder. She specializes in risk modeling for low-probability, high-impact, data-sparse events. She is also the co-founder of the Risk and Resilience DAT/Artathon, a free online data visualization workshop for early career individuals who work with disaster risk and resilience data.
