Zach Bruick is an expert leading McKinsey’s Climate Analytics work across financial institutions and the public sector, overseeing a team of MS and PhD climate scientists and impact experts to assess physical climate risk and develop actionable adaptation plans. Bruick's expertise is focused in physical climate risk and resilience, having built wildfire, severe thunderstorm, and extreme heat models for research and client use, and has served clients including major non-government organizations, U.S. state (including Colorado) and local governments, and over a dozen banks and insurers. Bruick received a Master of Science in atmospheric science from Colorado State University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in meteorology from Valparaiso University in 2017.
