Student Orientation
Sunday, June 14, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. MDT
Location: TBD
When hazard information is effectively conveyed and fully received, it can be a powerful tool for disaster risk reduction. But how can you know if your message is achieving those outcomes? Thoughtfully designed monitoring and evaluation can provide shared learning and accountability for government agencies, emergency managers, researchers, community organizations, public health officials, and others looking to increase the impact of their communications. This interactive training session will explain how monitoring and evaluation can be designed, implemented, and used to support successful hazard communications in real-world contexts.
