NAAHDRI Rising Star Student Poster Prize
The North American Alliance of Hazards and Disaster Research Institutes (NAAHDRI) will award the NAAHDRI Rising Star Student Poster Prize at the 2026 Natural Hazards Workshop.
The prize will go to three student-led posters whose work demonstrates the potential to foster communication, connection, and cooperation across disciplinary or organizational boundaries. Posters that communicate their science in an engaging and accessible way will be given preference. See the Natural Hazards Workshop Poster Design Guide for tips and advice!
Prize winners will be awarded $500 each and be honored at the Workshop Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 15, at 5:10 pm MDT. Graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for the prize. Student-led work, in which the student presenting the poster is also the first or sole author, will be prioritized.
