DesignSafeTraining: Cyberinfrastructure for Data Publication

DesignSafe (www.designsafe-ci.org) is the cyberinfrastructure component of the National Science Foundation’s Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI). DesignSafe provides cloud-based tools to manage, analyze, and publish critical data for research in natural hazards. This session will provide an overview of the data sharing publication functionalities of DesignSafe, as well as examples of recent experiences publishing social science data using the DesignSafe Field Research data model, which was developed in partnership with the NHERI CONVERGE and NHERI RAPID facilities.
