In this era of environmental extremes, education plays a key role in community resiliency decision making. We must actively hope, study, and plan for improved educational continuity for youth after disasters. The panelists in this session will present data and share experiences from several disasters—including hurricanes,earthquakes, and the COVID-19 pandemic—with an emphasis on cross-cutting themes and applications for policy and practice.
