This session will officially open the 45th Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop. Although we won’t be able to stand up and introduce ourselves as we normally would in person, Natural Hazards Center Director Lori Peek will give brief comments and help orient you to our first-ever virtual Natural Hazards Workshop. You will also learn important details about the virtual platform, how the program will proceed, and this year’s Workshop award winners.
