Brittany Kiessling is an anthropologist that specializes in research that explores how communities connect to, impact, and are shaped by their environment. She has an interdisciplinary background and one of her greatest strengths (and joys) is working in diverse teams to collaborate with people who have different experiences and perspectives.
Kiessling's current work is on investigating the social complexities of environmental cleanup work throughout the United States. She is interested in understanding how factors such as stigma, public trust, and stakeholder engagement affect cleanup processes and outcomes.
