Emily Hogan has served as the assistant city manager for the City of Louisville in Colorado (population 21,000) since 2019 and previously was assistant to the city manager. She serves as a public information officer and oversees communications, sustainability, and special projects for the city. Hogan previously worked at the City of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, and the Colorado Department of Law. She received her BA in political science and MA in public administration from the University of Colorado. She is passionate local government and hopes to help others learn from Louisville’s experiences, particularly about the response and recovery from the Marshall Fire. Hogan lives in Broomfield, Colorado with her husband, Bill, and children, Billy and Wyatt, and their dog, Daphne.
