Sally M. Ziolkowski currently serves as the deputy federal preparedness coordinator in the National Preparedness Division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency in Region 9, which covers Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. In this role, Ziolkowski directs the National Preparedness Division in implementing programs, such as the Continuity of Operations Program, the Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program, the Continuous Improvement Program, and the Threat & Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment. She also directs individual and community preparedness, training and exercises, tribal outreach, and National Incident Management Systems.
Ziolkowski earned her bachelor's of science in education from the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point and a master's of science in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee.
