In Shalynn Robinette's work as Home Forward's Environmental & Emergency Manager, she strives to build a safer future through community-centric emergency management planning. Bringing a 20-year background in healthcare, Robinette has a deep appreciation for how a single event can significantly affect someone's life. She focuses on leveraging peoples' lived experience and translating that into community preparedness. Throughout the COVID-19 response, Robinette served as Multnomah County's unified command assistant and as a deputy liaison officer.
Robinette completed her Executive Master of Public Administration degree at Portland State University in 2022.
When not working on helping Home Forward become better prepared, you can find Robinette camping in the Pacific Northwest with her wife and their two dogs, Maxwell & Luna.
