Training Session: Increasing Collaboration in Disasters Through Scenario-Based Planning
Sunday, July 13, 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. MDT
Location: Interlocken D
Responding to disasters and building hazard resilience require people with different backgrounds, disciplines, and skills to work together. In this session, attendees will learn strategies to break down structural barriers between research, policy, and practice. They will also be asked to put their collaborative problem-solving skills to the test by working through engaging hypothetical scenarios for floods, wildfires, and community resistance to preparedness efforts.
