Marísa Macías

Marísa Macías is a usability specialist and science communicator for the U.S. Geological Survey Geologic Hazards Science Center in Golden, Colorado. She has a bachelor's in geological engineering with a minor in public affairs and a master's in humanitarian engineering and science from the Colorado School of Mines. Her research interests include user experience/user interface (UX/UI) research and risk communication. Additionally, she contributes to operational science communication and outreach efforts for the U.S. Geological Survey.
