Sydney Reichin

Sydney Reichin is an assistant professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at North Carolina State University. Her research centers on predicting, understanding, and addressing deviance in workplaces and other settings, focusing on personality, implicit motives, and psychometric assessments, particularly maladaptive traits such as the motive to aggress. Building on her expertise and research conducted during her time at the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center, Reichin continues to incorporate the study of terrorism and targeted violence into her research program. Currently, these projects include developing assessments for program evaluations, examining security culture across diverse work environments, and strengthening risk assessments for K-12 schools.
