Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have potential applications to enhance disaster response operations and long-term recovery. Yet ethical and responsible use of these tools requires that they are guided by human expertise and grounded in community needs. This roundtable invites attendees to think through real-world scenarios for using AI inresearch and practice, while discussing ways this emerging technically could help, ways it could fail, and the precautions and boundaries that are needed.
