Lodging
The Workshop will take place at the Omni Interlocken Hotel at 500 Interlocken Boulevard, Broomfield, Colorado. Rooms are still available at the Omni; however, the special Workshop rate has expired.
Rooms are also available at the Renaissance Flatiron Hotel, with shuttle service to the Omni. A special nightly room cost for a single or double is $144 while available. Please indicate that you are making reservations for the Natural Hazards Workshop.
Getting There
Most rental cars can take the E-470 tollway which accepts tolls by electronic reader. Please visit the Express Toll website for information about driving a rental car on the tollway.
To take the tollway, take Pena Boulevard to Exit 6B toward Fort Collins/E-470 Tollway.
E-470 becomes the Northwest Parkway. You will travel 32 miles along the tollway. The Northwest Parkway becomes Interlocken Loop, which crosses over U.S. 36. At the first light past U.S. 36, turn left onto Interlocken Boulevard.
The Omni hotel is located up the hill on the left, approximately two city blocks.
Other Transportation Options
Taxi's as well as Uber, Lyft, and other app-based transportation services are available from the Denver International Airport.
The SuperShuttle is a scheduled van service. Reservations are required and prices may vary. The shuttle desk is located in the main terminal. You may also call (800) 258-3826 or make reservations online.
Green Ride Boulder provides hourly rides from Denver International Airport to area hotels and back. For information on pricing and schedules see Green Ride Boulder
Rental cars and shuttle services are also available in the main terminal. For information on public transit to and from DIA, visit Denver's Regional Transportation District.
RTD Public Transportation
A bus called “AB” runs from Denver International Airport to Boulder. The stop closest to the conference venue is the “US-36 & Flatiron Station” stop. For a map and schedule, please plan your trip HERE. The AB bus can be found at the Denver Airport Station, which is located at the DEN Transit Center, adjacent to the Westin. The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of the Jeppesen Terminal, exit through the glass doors and take the escalator down to ground level.
- RTD bus service operates from approximately 3:30 a.m. to midnight, with the last bus leaving the airport at 1:28 a.m.
- Riders must have exact change
- Buses depart approximately every 15 minutes during peak hours and drivers will help you load and unload your luggage
- All buses are wheelchair accessible
- An RTD information booth is located at the DEN Transit Center

Meals
Lunch will be available at the Omni Interlocken Hotel Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There will be a BBQ at the Millennium Hotel by Boulder Creek on Tuesday evening (transportation will be provided).
Meals are $35 each. Please indicate which meals you'll attend on your registration form. All meals have vegetarian options. You are not required to attend the meals, but we recommend attending the BBQ—it's a highlight of the Workshop.
