Federal science and technology officials value opportunities work with academia to explore new disaster research findings and learn about shared priorities. In this session, federal officials will share perspective on how the U.S. Government approach to disaster-relevant investigations has been evolving, including increased collaboration with university-based scientists. Current major federal activities and works-in-progress will be described and opportunities for improved future collaboration will be explored.
