Abstract (limit 250 words)

Please submit the abstract for your poster exactly as you would like it to appear in the online program and on the Natural Hazards Center website. The abstract should be written in clear and accessible language. Click here to review the Natural Hazards Center Abstract Formatting Guidelines before submitting. Given the volume of abstracts that we receive, incomplete or incorrectly formatted abstracts will not be selected for presentation.

Poster session abstracts are due March 7, 2025.

Please list ALL authors, including yourself, in the order you would like them to appear in the online program. Please check the presenter box next to the author who will be responsible for presenting the poster at the 2025 Workshop. The presenter will also be the main point of contact for this event. Please only identify one person as a poster presenter.

Rules for Presenting a Poster

1. Poster presenters must register for the Workshop and be available to attend their assigned poster session on the evenings of Sunday, July 13, or Monday, July 14, 2025.
2. There are no registration discounts for presenting a poster.
3. Poster presenters will be the main point of contact for this event and are responsible for communicating with session organizers and relaying information to co-authors.
4. Poster presenters are only allowed to present ONE poster at the Workshop. You may be named as an author on more than one poster, but you can only be named as the poster presenter on one submission.
