Developing an Evidence Bank and Knowledge Management System for Adaptation and Resilience

Wednesday, July 16, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. MDT
Location: Pine

Many communities across the U.S. have embraced proactive programs for adaptation and resilience of the built environment. But there’s currently no common approach for evaluating the progress that’s been made, the effectiveness of interventions, or what actions might be suitable to meet specific community needs. This session will discuss steps that would lead to the development of an evidence bank and knowledge management system that can fill this gap through creating a common measurement framework for location specific adaptation and resilience actions, an evidence bank that would house project-level information for communities, and an informational database on effective actions that are scalable and transferable.
