Twenty-five years ago at the Natural Hazards Workshop, a group of hazards experts came together to build a network and advance issues of gender and disaster in research. That group grew into the Gender and Disaster Network, which has been offering resources, building connections, advocating for gender and disaster policy, and supporting new professionals throughout the years. Join founding members and present representatives as they discuss the trajectory of the group and significant moments of change and stasis in the field over the decades.
