Networking Roundtable: Conducting Ethical Work in Changing Environments

Sunday, July 13, 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. MDT
Location: Ponderosa

Decades of disaster research has shown that marginalized groups are less likely to receive adequate resources to prepare for and recover quickly after a disaster. Researchers and practitioners in our field have worked hard to recognize the needs of these underserved communities, build trust, and pursue more just disaster recovery and resilience for all. This roundtable invites attendees to offer ideas for keeping that momentum and maintaining a commitment to underserved communities, even as policy and funding pipelines dry up and protections are removed.
