Overcoming Obstacles, Incentivizing Action

If you have the best knowledge about a hazard, how would you use it? This session explores ways to overcome resource, personnel, ideological, financial, and other barriers in order to encourage action. Novel approaches, new incentive structures (such as FEMA’s Disaster Deductible), and programs for promoting hazards mitigation will be featured.
