A Guidebook + A Scorecard = An Integrative Framework for Community Resilience

This panel uses the National Institute of Standards and Technology Community Resilience Planning Guide and the Texas A&M University Resilience Scorecard, funded through the Department of Homeland Security Coastal Resilience Center of Excellence, to illustrate how communities can approach resilience planning and assessment. Panelists will discuss how resilience planning guidance is developed and used in local communities and will explore rigorous approaches to researching and evaluating the progress made toward building community resilience.
